BCUW/ Madeline Partnership

THE BCUW/MADELINE PARTNERSHIP was formed to increase the supply of homes people can afford. It is a partnership formed in 2004 between two not-for-profit organizations with over 60 years of continuous service to the community. Together, BCUW-Madeline has partnered in the development of over 100 units of low and moderate-income, special needs, and senior housing units for rental and home ownership. The partnership manages all aspects of project development including site acquisition, new construction, renovation, and revitalization.

BCUW/Madeline is designated as a Certified Housing Development Corporation (CHDO) by the New Jersey State Department of Community Affairs and recognized as a developer of choice by the New Jersey State Department of Developmental Disabilities.

In 2010, our Orchard Commons Special Needs Housing in Allendale, NJ received Governor Christie's Excellence in Housing Award for Best Supportive Housing. Ten adults with developmental disabilities now live there independently for the first time in their lives.

BCUW/Madeline has an established record of collaboration and trusts with municipal, county, and state entities. We are valued partners of:
